With a voice that has been described as ‘effortless’ and ‘dazzling’, Tim Beveridge has quickly carved out his own unique style as one of New Zealand’s most talented and leading concert and Broadway performers.
Having abandoned his life as a lawyer some years ago to pursue his passion for music and entertaining, Tim’s musical career has progressed in leaps and bounds.
Starting in musical theatre, Tim was one of the youngest performers to play The Phantom in ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ in Sydney at the early age of 29. Since then, Tim has sung at the Sydney Opera House, the Melbourne Concert Hall as well as every major venue throughout New Zealand. In addition to producing three albums, and being chosen to sing the New Zealand National Anthem live at many All Black rugby test matches, Tim has collaborated with world-renowned musicians including legendary arranger Russ Garcia, Sir Howard Morrison, Dame Malvina Major, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Hayley Westenra.
Tim continues to conceive, produce, direct and star in his own festival productions around New Zealand as well as numerous concert appearances with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra and Auckland Philharmonia.
